  • Sweet Wisdom Chocolates are usually ready to pick up or ship within 1-2 weeks of order. We will let you know when they are complete, but feel free to reach out if you have any questions to: info@sweetwisdomchocolates.com

  • What is the shelf-life of Sweet Wisdom Chocolates?

    With the exception of our Bark Collection, all our filled chocolates have a shelf-life of approximately 2-4 weeks and should be kept in the refrigerator to maximize their longevity, especially in warm weather. Keep in mind that we use no preservatives or sugar so consuming sooner is better!

    We do recommend bringing them to room temperature prior to eating, for maximum flavor.

    The Barks do not need to be refrigerated and they will last for months. Enjoy!

  • Let’s talk about allergies and special needs….

    Sweet Wisdom Chocolates are made by hand in a licensed residential kitchen which means we make ALL kinds of foods there. So they are not allergy-safe in any way and may contain traces of peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, milk, eggs, dairy or gluten.

    Vegan Offerings: All our barks are vegan. The filled chocolates have no animal products in them except for honey. So if you follow a vegan diet that permits honey, you are good to go.

    Non-Dairy Offerings: All our chocolates are non-dairy.

    Sugar-free Offerings: All of our chocolates are free of refined cane sugar. The chocolate we use is coconut sugar based, and the fillings contain honey and/or maple syrup.

    Gluten-free Offerings: All of our chocolates are gluten free but may contain traces of gluten as we do not maintain a gluten-free kitchen so cross-contamination may occur.

    Kosher Offerings: Unfortunately we are not able to produce Kosher products.

  • How do I receive your products?

    Local Pickup: The best way to get our chocolates is local pickup in Newton, MA. We will email when your chocolates are ready to schedule a time for you to pick up. Please note that you will select this option during the checkout process. The cart defaults to USPS flat rate shipping of $12 but that will be removed when you select local pickup.

    Shipping: We use priority USPS shipping. All of our chocolates are carefully packed but we cannot be responsible for any damage that may occur during shipping. We do not ship when or where temperatures are over 70 degrees. We do appreciate knowing if there is an issue with shipping so please do contact us if you are unsatisfied with the condition in which your chocolates are received.

  • Can I choose the fillings/toppings for my chocolates?

    Barks: We make the Barks to order, so we welcome your customizations! Please make use of the pop-up box to request your favorites.

    Filled Chocolates: We are able to offer a limited number of customized boxes. Once you get to know the filled chocolates, you might find you would like to choose the fillings in your next box. Please send us an email at info@sweetwisdomchocolates.com telling us your preferences and we will do our best to accommodate! Customized fillings are available on any recurring (subscription) orders.

  • Do you offer refunds?

    We are all about customer service. If you are unsatisfied with your chocolates, please do let us know and we will see what we can do to make it right. That said, if we notify you that your order is ready for local pickup and don’t hear from you within the next 2 weeks, we will need to dispose of the chocolates and will not offer a refund.
